Fishing Creek Lodge is a friendly and laid back happy place, nestled in State Game Lands #13, the largest of the Pennsylvania State Game Lands. We’re also only 4.3 miles from Ricketts Glen State Park. Lake Jean, located near the state park visitors center, offers a beach, kayak and rowboat rentals during the summer, as well as fishing all year round. Kathleen loves being your AirBnB Superhost and is always available to answer any questions about the lodge or the area.

The lodge has a stocked full-size guest kitchen that’s yours to use as you wish. Feel free to cook whatever food we have there, or bring your own to store in the refrigerator during your stay. There’s picnic tables and a gas grill on the porch for you to enjoy outdoor eating as well! Breakfast food is always provided or made upon request. I also am happy to make delicious latte for guests, if they wish. There’s a also delicious restaurant only a couple blocks up and a small grocery store in the town of Benton.

Relax and sip a drink by the fire pit in the evening, or have fun with the family throwing horseshoes on the side lawn. Talk a walk down the shared driveway to the creek at the bridge and sit on the rocks to unwind in the evening.

Is it a rainy evening? Press the Netflix button on the remote and watch a new movie or an old favorite, or sit and play a board games and read a book in our guest lounge. A pottery studio and painting studio are almost done being renovated and will be available for guests.

We have two guest bathrooms on the second floor, conveniently located in the hallway near the rooms. They are a one-person-at-a-time bathroom with a privacy lock, just like in your own home. They are very clean and stocked with all of your basic needs.
