Fishing Creek Lodge is a friendly and peaceful happy place, nestled in State Game Lands #13, the largest of the Pennsylvania State Game Lands. We’re also only 4.3 miles from Ricketts Glen State Park. Lake Jean, located near the state park visitors center, offers a beach and kayak rentals during the summer, as well as fishing all year round. Kathleen loves being your AirBnB Superhost and is always available to answer any questions about the lodge or the area.

The lodge offers a full-size guest kitchen. Feel free to cook whatever basic food we have there, or bring your own to store in the refrigerator during your stay. There’s also a gas grill next to a fire pit out on the deck. Breakfast food is always provided or will be made-to-order upon request. I’m also happy to make delicious latte for guests, if they wish. There’s a delicious restaurant only a couple blocks up and a small grocery store in the nearby town of Benton.

We have two guest bathrooms on the second floor, conveniently located in the hallway near the rooms. They are a one-person-at-a-time bathroom with a privacy lock, just like in your own home. They are always kept clean and stocked with all of your basic needs. 

Relax and sip a drink by the fire pit in the evening, or have fun with the family throwing horseshoes on the side lawn. Take a walk down the shared driveway to the creek at the bridge and sit on the rocks to unwind from your day filled with adventure.

Is it a rainy day? Press the Netflix button on the remote and watch a new movie or an old favorite, or sit and play a board game.

StudioWalk™ Pottery and Painting Studio are now a part of Fishing Creek Lodge! The third floor of the BnB has a painting/crafting studio, if you are the creative type. Professional art supplies are available for a small donation, and there’s also a FREE drawer for kids with coloring books and other lower-end supplies. Parents, please supervise children with the supplies (thank you). There’s also a small library/work lounge on the third floor. Next door to the lodge is the Pottery Studio.
