This is a fun, no-pressure beginners pottery class.
Becoming skilled at pottery takes determination, patience and a LOT of practice. Even seasoned potters have mess ups. This class will cover all the basics to get you started on this fun and (sometimes-haha) rewarding hobby.
WEEK ONE will be learning how to prep the clay and how to center on the wheel.
WEEK TWO will be continuing to work on your centering technique and practicing creating on the wheel.
WEEK THREE will be learning carving and design techniques for your thrown, partially dry pieces.
WEEK FOUR will be learning all about glazes and glazing your thrown work.
Price includes ALL materials. You will be notified as to when your finished fired pieces will be available for pickup.

This is a fun, no-pressure beginner pottery class by hand building and not using the wheel.
