This course is an introduction to pottery for beginners.
Becoming good at pottery takes a lot of patience, determination and a LOT of practice! Even seasoned potters have failed attempts. This is a non-intimidating, laid back class where I’ll teach you the basics and we can have a lot of fun in the process.
WEEK ONE will be learning basics and how to center your clay on the pottery wheel.
WEEK TWO will be a continuation of week one and more playing/creating on the wheel.
WEEK THREE will be learning and practicing different carving techniques.
WEEK FOUR will be all about glazing.
Price includes all materials and kiln firing. After the final firing of your finished art, you’ll be notified when your pieces are ready for pickup.
